Cultural and sustainable tourism: from hospitality to experience as the engine of the future

RAVEZZI 2

In an era where travelers seek authentic and meaningful emotions, experiential tourism is emerging as the key to enhancing territories, involving communities, and promoting sustainable growth. Giuseppe Costa, at the helm of two entities symbolizing the integration of culture, entertainment, and innovation – Costa Edutainment with C-WAY and Opera Laboratori with Dear Guests – will share a concrete vision on how to build tourist ecosystems where culture is not just visited, but lived and inhabited.

The development strategies adopted in the main hubs managed by the two groups will be described – from the Genoa Aquarium to the Royal Palace of Caserta, from Italia in Miniatura in Rimini to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii – highlighting the role of public-private partnerships, digitalization, and inclusivity in creating memorable experiences with high added value for the territories.

Through the experience of Dear Guests – visitor center and cultural hospitality network that connects people, places, and services with particular attention to collaborations that unite sports and culture – and of C-WAY, the Edutainment tour operator, which integrates culture, education, emotion, and entertainment, it will be illustrated how the integrated approach can generate that virtuous reciprocity where "guest" is both the one who welcomes and the one who is welcomed.

A meeting aimed at tour operators, institutions, and investors, to reflect on how to transform cultural sites into engines of innovation and sustainability, where experience becomes care and the visit transforms into authentically "inhabiting" culture.
