What shape does the future of a village take when it's traced by the perspective of those who inhabit it and those who visit it? In Orgosolo, in the heart of Barbagia, this question has taken form in "Miradas". A cultural and social regeneration project – implemented as part of the PNRR's Borghi Project – which culminates in the presentation of an innovative tourist destination: "Orgosolo, the other face of Sardinia".
Combining strategy, technology, and storytelling, in this panel we will retrace the main stages of Miradas with Paola Locci, project manager, and Vincenzo Cascone, narrative director. A journey that has seen the active involvement of the local community, but also an openness to the outside world, as demonstrated by the Innovation Startup Tour: an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Orgosolo in collaboration with the Startup Tourism Association, which brought some of the most interesting Italian tourism innovation companies to the village, in direct dialogue with local operators.
A concrete opportunity to reflect on how even a municipality in the inland areas can participate in territorial innovation processes, building a different vision of tourism rooted in its own identity.
