The geography of international tourism is changing: the source markets travelling to Italy are evolving, and at the same time, new destinations, experiences and travel patterns are shaping the outgoing flows of Italian travellers. The panel will analyse the signals that anticipate these changes – from search trends to actual flows, through to purchasing decisions – in order to understand when a new interest becomes concrete demand and what conditions allow it to be transformed into an accessible, plannable and marketable tourism product.
