How can the landscape be transformed into an authentic and shared experience?
With the European project PAYSAGE+ Aimable, funded by the Interreg VI-A France-Italy ALCOTRA 2021–2027 Programme, the regions of the Province of Cuneo, Imperia, and the Alpes-Maritimes are working together to build a new tourism offer based on five key themes: outdoor activities, wellness, food and wine, family experiences, and accessibility.
The Bikeland project, on the other hand, is promoted by four Unions of Municipalities – Unione Montana Alta Langa, Unione Montana Alta Val Tanaro, Unione Montana delle Valli Mongia e Cevetta - Langa Cebana - Alta Valle Bormida, and Unione Montana Colline di Langa e del Barolo (lead partner).
Funded by the CRC Foundation, the project entrusted the Langhe Monferrato Roero Tourism Board with the task of promoting some of the most scenic cycling routes in the Cuneo area through the creation of both print and digital promotional materials (brochures, website, product clubs), the production of videos and communication campaigns, and participation in trade fairs in Italy and abroad.
The event will be an opportunity to present the goals and vision of the two projects, but also to show how slow and sustainable tourism can become a real driver of development and international appeal.
