Agronomist, graduated from the University of Bologna, he boasts extensive experience in certification in the agri-food sector and eco-sustainable production systems. After many years of activity as a senior auditor and regional coordinator of controls, he has held managerial roles at some of the main Italian certification bodies such as AIAB (Associazione Italiana Agricoltura Biologica) and ICEA (Istituto Certificazione Etica Ambientale). Since 2018 he has joined the Bioagricert team (www.bioagricert.org) where he holds the role of Client & Sales Manager with a particular focus on the research and development of new certification schemes, including in non-food sectors.
