Anna Gennari

She is a woman from Puglia with an innate passion for interpersonal relationships. She approached the world of wine, as a testimony of civilization and culture, in 2007, when the historic winery Produttori Vini Manduria invited her to take care of PR, Events, and Communication. There, she implemented the wine tourism hospitality system Primitivo Wine Tour®, now recognized at both national and international levels, welcoming 10,000 wine lovers from all over the world each year. Since then, she has been managing the Museum of Primitivo Wine Civilization, located in the ancient underground cisterns of the winery. She also actively participates in the design and organization of events (conferences, book presentations, corporate meetings, etc.) that continually bring new enthusiasts to the winery, firmly believing that wine is a cultural catalyst, and that attracting people to a historic production site is undoubtedly a plus. She has organized and promoted numerous events and fairs, including: the music festival ACUSTICA – Musica in Purezza, now in its 9th edition; Primitivo Wine Tour Day, an open day dedicated to tourism professionals from across the region; CantinAnniversario, celebrating the founding of the cooperative in 1932. She has built strong partnerships with local associations promoting the territory and managed key relationships within networks aimed at cooperation and the cultural promotion of the region’s signature product. Since 2023, she has served as Vice Delegate for Puglia for the Associazione Donne del Vino, of which she has been a member since 2008, fully embracing its spirit and initiatives. She is often invited as a speaker/opinion leader at meetings and conferences on topics such as territorial promotion, wine, and wine tourism.
