Claudia Ferrero

Claudia Ferrero is a professional with over twenty years of experience in hospitality and a strong passion for digital transformation, developed in international contexts within prominent hotel groups. A career path that began in Turin, at the G.B. Colombatto hotel management institute, continued in Switzerland at the renowned campus of Glion Institute of Higher Education, which allowed her to immediately embark on an international career and take on various managerial roles. She then consolidated her management expertise in prestigious locations such as London, Florida, New York and Monte Carlo. Upon returning to Italy, she dedicated herself to the entrepreneurial and commercial development of a hotel cluster, to hotel management, and ultimately to overseeing the hospitality department in luxury retail. In 2020, she stepped away from operations to focus on consulting and projects related to the digitalization of service processes for hotels and restaurants, an area where Italian SMEs face greater difficulties in seizing the real opportunities it offers. In this context, towards the end of 2022, she co-founded with Viviana Greco — an HR Director with extensive and prestigious experience in Human Resources — the female-led benefit company startup Horeca Job, dedicated to recruiting and developing innovative solutions to facilitate the matching of labor supply and demand. She currently supports companies in staff selection and in defining Talent Acquisition strategies, with the aim of improving their attractiveness and defining a corporate culture centered on employee well-being. Since her return to Italy, she has never stopped sharing her passion for the hotel industry with younger generations, taking part in PCTO activities in vocational schools and collaborating as a lecturer for HIA Firenze, IATH Cernobbio, ITS Academy Veneto, Rimini and Turin. She is the author of editorial features in industry trade publications, and serves as both a speaker and moderator at events for the Horeca sector.
