Cristiano Tomei

Cristiano Tomei has been National Coordinator of CNA Turismo e Commercio since 2017 and of CNA Balneari since 2010 at the Confederazione Nazionale dell'Artigianato e della Piccola e Media Impresa (CNA). He carries out institutional and associative representation activities at national and European level in the sectors of tourism, trade, the blue economy and tourist-recreational maritime public domain, with particular focus on SME policies, the reform of maritime concessions, sustainability and innovation. He has participated in technical and advisory panels at national institutions, contributing to the development of strategies and measures for tourism and the beach resort sector. In coordination with CNA Bruxelles, he monitors the evolution of European policies, directives and regulations of interest to tourism and businesses, participating in the definition of associative positions vis-à-vis the institutions of the European Union. He has represented CNA in parliamentary hearings, institutional discussions and European consultations on the topics of sustainable tourism, the green transition and the blue economy. He is a speaker at national conferences, forums and summits dedicated to tourism, maritime policies and territorial development, as well as coordinating seminar activities and university training courses on the enhancement of destinations, local communities and Made in Italy. Holding degrees in Political Science and Contemporary History, he has obtained a Second-Level Master's degree in Maritime Law and Economics. He is a member of the Order of Journalists, Publicists section. His professional activity is oriented towards the promotion of policies and strategies for the competitive and sustainable growth of businesses and tourist and coastal territories.
