As Head of the Research and Statistics Office at ENIT - in order to provide sector stakeholders with precise and up-to-date data and information - he studies, analyses and monitors entrepreneurial, economic, social and technological dynamics of tourist interest, from the analysis of factors to the processes of general expansion of the sector, to big data platforms on tourist phenomena, developing ad hoc research frameworks and dashboards for in-depth studies and sector reports. The specific expertise gained over more than 30 years of specialised working activity in tourism covers, in detail, the analysis of the territory and its economic, tourist and social system, also through the examination of expressed and potential characteristics and potentialities, in comparison with the behaviour of competitors within our tourist offering. The studies carried out focus on understanding the typicality and specific values of destinations, in relation to the demands of tourist markets and demand segments, for constant monitoring aimed at verifying the prospects for economic, sustainable and green growth of Italian tourism, for the well-being of the business system and residents.
