Biography

Lawyer, born in Naples in 1976, he opens his B&B in 2008 in his family's former office. He speaks 5 languages and, thanks to his parents, as a young man he explores practically all of Europe by car, having the fortune of experiencing different ways of approaching and communicating tourism, culture and hospitality. He believes in the value of family-style hospitality and networks, and therefore joins Host Italia - the largest national association bringing together non-hotel accommodation owners and managers - of which he becomes the representative for Naples and Campania. In 2020 he contributes to the founding phase of the national Federation, participating in the drafting of the Statute alongside colleagues from Marche and Sicily, of which he becomes President in 2024. With the Federation he fights to protect the sector on all fronts, emphasising the distinction from hoteliers and large property managers, and together with local associations achieves several results in favour of the sector, such as the definition of in-person identification (de visu) by the Council of State, the moratorium on certain provisions of the Tuscany regional law on non-hotel accommodation and rentals, and the annulment - by the T.A.R. Sicilia - of certain provisions of the Sicilian Decree on non-hotel tourism that would have effectively decreed the closure of a large part of the island's accommodation facilities.
