Elisabetta Fabri

Elisabetta Fabri is President and CEO of Starhotels, a hotel group founded by her father in 1980. After completing her studies at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and obtaining a bachelor's degree in business administration, she joined the company. In 1992, she established Starhotels International and acquired The Michelangelo hotel in New York, which she personally managed for many years. In 2000, she took on the role of CEO and Vice President of Starhotels, of which she would become President in 2011. Under her leadership, the company's internationalisation was developed and a process of upgrading the offering was initiated through renovations and acquisitions of new hotel properties, leading between 2014 and 2016 to the Group's establishment in the luxury hôtellerie sector. Starhotels today counts over 4,500 rooms across 34 luxury properties and residences. Under her leadership, Starhotels has distinguished itself through a strong commitment to the enhancement of Italy's cultural, historical and artistic heritage, supporting various projects, the most recent being 'La Grande Bellezza - The Dream Factory' in favour of excellence in craftsmanship. Since 2024, she has been president of Confindustria Alberghi.
