Councillor of the Republic since 2006, he has held prestigious positions such as member of the Foreign Affairs and Public Order Commission and of the Interparliamentary Commission. He was re-elected to the Grand and General Council in the political consultations of 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2024. Former member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean and President of the Commission on Criminal Infiltrations in San Marino (Anti-Mafia Commission). On 1 April 2008, he was appointed Captain Regent together with Rosa Zafferani. In January 2020, he was appointed Secretary of State for Tourism, Posts, Economic Cooperation and Expo, a role confirmed again in 2024 with the addition of responsibilities for Information and Tourist Investment Attraction.
