Flavio Veccaro

Biography

Flavio Veccaro is a professional in the extra-hotel, travel tech and startup fields with over 20 years of experience. Originally from Monopoli, after having started in the field of luxury masserie in Puglia and tourist villages on Lake Garda, he moved to Rome for his studies and began working in the fields of events, F&B, art galleries and short-term rentals as an operations manager and business developer. After years of travelling around the world, he decided to found CVS Roma and Tourvirtuale.org, through which he provides services to hundreds of property managers, taking care of their management, marketing and growth. He subsequently developed a passion for the startup world, collaborating with the Roman accelerator Ala/34 on several projects before joining Vikey, first as Head of Sales and subsequently as Head of Product & Partnership, contributing with the development team to take Vikey from pre-seed to the exit phase within 6 years. Eager for new challenges, after having contributed to the adoption of self-check-in at a national level both commercially and bureaucratically, he decided to accept the role of Market Manager Italy for Guesty, the world leader in the field of PMS for holiday homes, in order to introduce it to the Italian market. He has taken part in hundreds of events, including international ones, as an industry expert and panelist. He holds a diploma as a tourism expert, a master's degree in fashion and costume management from La Sapienza and 2 master's degrees, one in Event Marketing from LUMSA and the other in Tourism Management from UpLevel business school.
