Francesco Torchia

He graduated with honors in Law from the University of Siena, later specializing in Civil Law and earning a PhD in “Enterprise, State and Market” at the University of Calabria. He is currently Professor of Private Law and Civil Law at the University of Calabria, where he also serves on the faculty board of the PhD program in “Theory and Practice of Law.” His academic career is complemented by a strong commitment to research, with more than fifty publications including monographs, essays, journal articles, and contributions to collective works. He also holds significant roles in professional and institutional contexts: he is President of the Italian Society of Tourism Sciences (SISTUR), a member of SISDIC, a member of the University Ethics Committee, and editor of the scientific series “Quaderni della Società Italiana di Scienze del Turismo.”
