Gerardo Grasso

Biography

With over fifteen years of experience in tourism marketing, Gerardo Grasso is a marketer specializing in content marketing, influencer marketing, and digital strategies. He began his career as a copywriter and digital strategist before focusing on digital marketing applied to tourism and luxury hospitality. In 2017, he joined Marriott International, where he currently serves as Senior Manager, Digital Field Marketing Luxury Europe. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of digital programs for iconic brands such as The St. Regis, W Hotels, and The Luxury Collection, collaborating with some of the most prestigious luxury hotels in Europe. Author of the essay Influencer Marketing 2.0 – How to Develop an Influencer-Oriented Strategy (EPC Editore, 2017), he published in 2024 the book TravelTelling with Dario Flaccovio Editore, a work that weaves storytelling, marketing, and travel culture. A speaker at major events such as SMAU, Social Media Week, and Web Marketing Festival, he is also a digital marketing lecturer at Rome Business School. He believes in the power of stories as a strategic lever and in the cross-pollination between marketing, philosophy, and anthropology.
