Gianfilippo Mignogna (Milan, 1978), a lawyer specialising in environmental law, served as Mayor of Biccari (FG) from 2009 to 2024 for three terms. He is married to Nada and is the father of Mario and Olga. He is currently president of the APS Dalla Parte dei Paesi. Long committed to small municipalities and inner areas, he has served as regional representative of UNCEM (Unione Nazionale Comuni ed Enti Montani), member of the national board of ANCPI (Associazione Nazionale Piccoli Comuni Italiani), of AITR (Associazione Italiana Turismo Responsabile) and vice-president of the association Borghi Autentici d'Italia. During his terms in office, Biccari distinguished itself for its tourism development and its ability to implement innovative policies, achieving important results and prestigious recognition. From this experience the book Ospitare fa bene (2023) was born. He has also published Come Biccari Cambia (2014), Tre giorni con Luca (2021), Dalla Parte dei Paesi (2024) and Differenti (2025).
