Biography

Giulia Bertolini is Travel & Fleet Manager at CFT SPA, a company of the ATS Group, a Canadian multinational leader in industrial automation solutions. CFT specialises in the design of food & beverage processing plants. In 2019, she established the Travel Office, contributing to the centralisation of corporate travel management and the evolution of travel management, travel security and duty of care processes for the Group's companies. Today she coordinates a dedicated team and supports approximately 250 frequent travellers in the management of international mobility and travel risk assessment. She is also responsible for negotiating framework agreements with the main corporate travel service providers, contributing to cost optimisation and improved travel compliance. In recent years she has also taken on responsibility for the company fleet, comprising around 100 vehicles, overseeing the definition of the Car Policy, mobility strategies and sustainability projects. A Law graduate, she has over twenty-five years of professional experience gained first in Human Resources, then in Field & Service and, finally, in Travel Management. She has been registered in the Italian Travel and Mobility Managers Register (AITMM) since 2020 and has obtained the Masterclass in Travel Security Manager ISO 31030 (2022), the Travel & Mobility Mastery and the Masterclass in Crisis Management (2024). In 2022 she was awarded at the Italian Mission Awards as Travel Manager of the Year in the category of companies with 101–600 travellers. In 2023 she received the Unsung Heroes recognition from ATS, awarded to employees who stand out for their commitment, dedication and positive contribution to the growth of the organisation. Her experience bears witness to the evolution of the Travel Manager role towards an increasingly strategic managerial figure, called upon to integrate international mobility, security, compliance, fleet management and sustainability in support of the business.
