Karin Butot is the Founder and CEO of CONNECT Aviation and The Airport Agency based in Lyon, France. A French-Danish national, she began her career in French and Belgian media before moving into the aviation industry more than 30 years ago. She founded CONNECT Route Development Forum, a premium aviation event that has grown every year and is now in its 23rd year. The next edition will take place in Trieste, Italy, bringing together airlines, airports, tourism organisations and aviation stakeholders to develop air connectivity and new routes.
