Karin Venneri

She has built her professional career at the intersection of strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation in the travel sector. After starting out as a strategic consultant in business transformation, she founded 1000Italy, a digital platform for experiential tourism, and Edgar – Smart Concierge, a proptech startup that revolutionised non-hotel hospitality. She led the digital transformation of Destination Italia, Italy's leading inbound operator, and at Wonderful Italy she contributed to the company's growth from 2 to over 50 million euros in GBV, defining and implementing the development strategy. She served as president of Associazione Startup Turismo, contributing to its positioning as a key reference point for the industry and institutions. Today she continues to support the association in the role of vice president. Karin defines herself as a 'business gardener': she cultivates sustainable growth, leads teams with vision and simplifies complexity to build scalable models in travel.
