Letizia Ciaccafava

She is a destination marketing manager and place branding expert with over 15 years of experience in sustainable territorial promotion. She has worked for public bodies, foundations, and national and international companies (including Fondazione FS Italiane, Regione Toscana, Slow Food, Gruppo Albatravel, Gambero Rosso), developing innovative strategies that integrate cultural identity, sustainability, and digital marketing. Since 2023, she has been a Partner at Destination Makers, a benefit consulting firm specialized in repositioning and tourism development of territories, with which she leads place branding projects, tourism governance, and local community enhancement. She coordinates the "Destination" theme in the scientific committee of BTO Florence and is a speaker and moderator at national and international conferences. Passionate about tourism as a tool for positive impact, she believes that destinations are not just places to visit but living ecosystems, where communities and travelers can grow in harmony, generating economic, social, and environmental value.
