Luca Mauriello

Social entrepreneur, expert in territorial development and innovation, investor and business angel in the communication and digital sector. For over 20 years he has worked alongside public bodies, businesses and Third Sector organisations, transforming ideas and opportunities into projects capable of generating development, innovation and social impact. Raised between Emilia-Romagna and Campania, in 2005 he obtained a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Sannio, with a thesis in Marketing. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor, he directed his career towards subsidised finance, strategic planning and business development. In 2008 he founded PROJENIA SCS, an organisation that over time evolved into a Social Cooperative and multidisciplinary hub active in the Third Sector, active labour market policies, training, social planning and local development. As CEO, he continues to guide its growth, promoting networks among associations, businesses, institutions and communities. Alongside this, he supports startups and new initiatives as a business angel and advisor. He works with young companies by providing capital, managerial expertise, network and strategic vision, with particular attention to new communication models and technologies applied to territorial development. He is the author of the volume Come accedere ai fondi pubblici. Strategie per una proposta progettuale vincente, in which he summarises a method developed through years of experience in the planning and management of public funding, aimed at businesses, Third Sector Organisations and Public Administrations. His vision stems from a conviction: even small territories can become laboratories of social and economic innovation, when people, skills and ideas are given the conditions to generate value and new opportunities.
