Massimiliamo Fedriga

He grew up and studied in Trieste where he obtained his scientific high school diploma, a degree in Communication Sciences and a master's degree in Communication Analysis and Management. He worked as a marketing manager for several companies in Northeast Italy. In 2008 he was elected for the first time to the Chamber of Deputies and re-elected in the 2013 and 2018 general elections. In Parliament he dealt particularly with Labor issues. On April 29, 2018, he was elected President of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. On January 26, 2020, he became a member of the Committee of the Regions and subsequently in April 2021 was elected President of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces. On April 3, 2023, he was re-confirmed as President of the Region for a second term. Since January 26, 2025, he has been a member of the Italian Delegation to the European Committee of the Regions.
