Massimo Feruzzi

Massimo Feruzzi is CEO of JFC S.r.l., a nationally recognized company in tourism destination management and marketing, with extensive experience working alongside public bodies, local administrations, and private companies operating in the tourism and territorial development sector. Throughout his professional career, he has developed specific expertise in territorial marketing consultancy, tourism programming and planning, as well as project management and destination management, working as an advisor for the definition of sustainable development strategies, positioning, and enhancement of tourist destinations, with particular attention to a balanced approach between tourism growth and territorial protection. He is the scientific director of some of the leading National Observatories dedicated to tourism, including the National Observatory of Mountain Tourism, the Observatory of Coastal Destinations, the Observatory of Wedding Tourism, and the Observatory of the Tourist Tax – monitoring and analysis tools of reference for operators, institutions, and sector stakeholders. He also coordinates research and socio-economic analysis activities on the main tourism phenomena, with particular attention to market trends and the economic impacts of tourism on territories. On the academic side, his economics background is structured across three study paths: bachelor's degrees in Tourism Economics and Management and in Business Economics, complemented by a master's degree in Economic Sciences – a path that combines managerial skills, economic-statistical foundations, and a specific specialization in the tourism sector. He is also a registered journalist, editor, and contributor to several scientific and technical sector publications.
