Mattia e Guido Charmen

Charmen is the creative and editorial project of Mattia Lorenzetti and Guido Prosperi, a couple in life and a professional duo specialising in the storytelling of travels, flavours and cultures. Food & travel writers and photographers, since 2016 they have been transforming places, encounters and experiences into content capable of interweaving writing, images and gastronomic culture through a personal and recognisable style. Charmen.it is their editorial hub, a space from which they narrate the world with a contemporary gaze that is attentive to the identity of territories. Destinations, accommodation facilities, local traditions and cuisines become stories to read, watch and experience. Their language is born from the encounter between travel and food: two inseparable keys to accessing the most authentic soul of every place. In 2021 they published 'Food Photography' for Apogeo/Feltrinelli and, in 2023, 'Ricette in Valigia. Il giro del mondo in 50 piatti dei giorni di festa' for Giaconi Editore, listed by TGCOM24 among the ten books of 2024 worth saving. In 2024 they launched 'Le Guide di Charmen', a travel guide series inaugurated with the volume dedicated to Boston. On 30 September 2026 the series will be enriched by two new titles dedicated to Northern Thailand and Sri Lanka. Since March 2026 they are also the authors and voices of 'Duty Free | Dialoghi per viaggiare liberamente', a travel storytelling podcast distributed on the main listening platforms, of which the first season has been published.
