Nicola Corti

Nicola Corti has been directing the Fondazione Allianz UMANA MENTE with passion, innovation and professionalism for more than twenty years. The Foundation invests in the social care sector by designing and supporting non-profit organisations; since its inception, it has supported 150,000 people with different needs across the entire national territory, allocating over 43 million euros in favour of more than 300 projects with a strong social impact. At an international level, Fondazione Allianz UMANA MENTE serves as the Italian representative of the Allianz Foundation Network, which brings together the foundations of the Allianz Group in Europe and around the world. He founded the Fondazione Italia per il dono onlus – F.I.Do, of which he is Delegated Councillor, an innovative philanthropic intermediary structure at both Italian and international level. The Foundation makes it possible to democratise philanthropy by drastically reducing costs and allowing anyone to enjoy the benefits of a personal foundation even with limited resources, guaranteeing donors that their wishes will always be respected. The philanthropic intermediary has already raised over 61.2 million euros from nearly 20,000 donors, establishing 526 philanthropic funds and supporting over 1,200 socially beneficial initiatives in Italy and around the world.
