Biography

He is a professor of Comparative Public Law and Cultural Heritage Law at Unitelma Sapienza, where he directs the School of Advanced Training in Cultures, Politics and Democracy and the UNESCO Chair on Intangible Cultural Heritage and Comparative Law. President of the UNESCO ICH global expert body until 2022, Professor Petrillo has been the coordinator and author of multiple UNESCO nomination dossiers, including those for the inscription of the Mediterranean Diet and Italian Cuisine.
