Sara Merighi

After graduating in Economics from Bocconi University, Sara began her career in the advertising and communications sector, working at Telemontecarlo, Mondadori Editore and Sky Italia. In the meantime, she pursued her passions as a volunteer at the dog shelter of the Amici del Randagio association and obtained a grooming diploma from Acad. At Sky, she developed specific expertise by working on entertainment formats (primarily XFactor and Masterchef), managing teams and building an extensive network of contacts. During those same years, Sara also developed another passion: writing. Having always nurtured the dream of creating an entrepreneurial project that would bring together pets, creativity and writing, in 2018, together with a close friend, after winning the CCIA di Como grant, she founded Food for Dogs. Skills, experience and passion all converge in this project. FFD won the Innovation Award from the Fondazione Italia-Usa in 2025.
