Tommaso Fumelli

57 years old, from Florence, he began his career in the MICE sector in Florence in the 1990s, before joining a major multi-location Travel group. In the early 2000s, he relocated to Milan. In 2005, he joined Alitalia, where he held positions of responsibility in foreign markets, gaining significant experience in the management of overseas branches. For over 17 consecutive years, he worked as an expat in countries experiencing strong economic growth, such as India, Russia, the Middle East and Latin America, focusing on the start-up of new routes, management of commercial structures and business development. In December 2021, he joined ITA Airways with the role of Regional Manager Americas, coordinating commercial activities for the entire continent, from the United States to Argentina, and overseeing the start-up of the new intercontinental routes envisaged by the plan. In October 2022, he was appointed Head of Sales for the Italian market, at ITA Airways' headquarters in Fiumicino, with the title of VP Italy Sales.
