Tommaso Fumelli

56 years old, born in Florence, started his career in the MICE sector in Florence in the 1990s, before joining a major multi-location Travel group. In the early 2000s, he moved to Milan. In 2005, he joined Alitalia, where he held positions of responsibility in foreign markets, gaining significant experience in managing overseas branches. For over 17 consecutive years, he worked as an expat in rapidly developing countries such as India, Russia, the Middle East, and Latin America, dealing with new route startups, managing commercial structures, and business development. In December 2021, he joined ITA Airways as Regional Manager Americas, coordinating commercial activities for the entire continent, from the United States to Argentina, and handling the startup of new intercontinental routes planned for the future. In October 2022, he was appointed Head of Sales for the Italian market at ITA Airways' headquarters in Fiumicino, with the title of VP Italy Sales.
