Valeria Minghetti

Until 2025 head of the research area at CISET, Centro Internazionale di Studi sull'Economia Turistica, founded by Ca' Foscari University of Venice and the Veneto Region. She has over 30 years of experience in research and training activities on tourism-related topics and has worked on various projects on behalf of national and international organisations (ISTAT, EUROSTAT, European Commission, UNWTO, OECD, etc.). In the field of outdoor tourism, from 2010 to 2019 Minghetti was responsible for the Observatory on motorhome and outdoor tourism for Fiere di Parma-Salone del Camper, and from 2013 to 2019 she curated part of the Annual Report on free-roaming tourism in caravans and motorhomes on behalf of Fiere di Parma and APC-Associazione Produttori Caravan e Camper, in which the results of the Observatory on free-roaming tourism in Italian regions are presented. On behalf of FAITA, she coordinated the design activities of an Observatory on outdoor tourism and oversaw the analysis of the labour supply chain for the sector, as well as the development of a technological standard for the presentation of campsites and holiday villages on major travel portals and platforms.
