He is the president of Fiavet Confcommercio elected in 2023 and in office until 2028. He is also elected to the National Council of Confcommercio. Previously, he served two terms as president of Fiavet Sicily. He has been the head of Platani Travel since 1986. His work program at Fiavet Confcommercio is based on protecting travel agencies and tour operators with a unified vision of the Federation aimed at growing associative life. Under his leadership, the Federation has seen the birth of new training projects and numerous partnerships, the renewal of the category's labor contract, and the growth of internationalization campaigns. For the first time in Europe, under Giuseppe Ciminnisi's presidency, an agreement was reached with Ryanair for travel agencies.
