Silvia Salmeri

For over 10 years, she has been working to bring travel back to its most authentic essence: a tool for connection between people and inner transformation. In 2014, she conceived the concept of inspirational tourism, a model that combines outward travel and personal growth, in harmony with communities and the environment. She is the founder of the tour operator Destinazione Umana, specialized in walking tours for women, and manages a B&B along the Kalabria Coast to Coast trail. She founded the School of Inspirational Tourism, through which she provides training and consulting to those who wish to design more human, sustainable, and transformative experiences.
