Giulio Maggiore

Giulio Maggiore is Full Professor of Business Economics and Management at the University of Rome “Unitelma Sapienza”, where he holds several academic and scientific positions, including Director of DIAI – Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory in Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence. His research and teaching activities focus on business economics and management, marketing and digital marketing, innovation, and the competitiveness of organisations and territorial systems, with particular attention also to the tourism sector. For over ten years, he has collaborated with the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), contributing to the development of numerous research projects and to the scientific activities related to the preparation of the Report on Italian Tourism, within which he contributes to the analysis of the competitive dynamics of the tourism sector and tourism destinations. Alongside his academic and scientific activities, he has gained significant professional experience as a consultant in the field of business development, working on strategies and growth processes for firms and organisations. He is the author of scientific publications on management, marketing, innovation, and tourism.
